Qu’est-ce que préfecture de Fukuoka ?: Fukuoka is a coastal dining hub in Kyushu where everyday flavors meet well-honed techniques. The city is closely associated with rich tonkotsu ramen known as Hakata style, along with mentaiko, sizzling yakitori, hearty motsunabe, and delicate mizutaki. Seafood from the nearby Genkai Sea often anchors menus, while vegetables from surrounding farms appear in seasonal small plates. After dark, lively yatai food stalls bring an informal energy, inviting a casual drink and a late bowl of noodles. As a port long regarded as a gateway to Asia, Fukuoka has absorbed influences that show up in multiethnic eateries and playful twists on classic dishes. Sake and shochu from around Kyushu pair comfortably with local specialties, and coffee and bakery culture add a modern accent. Whether you plan a quick bite or a slow circuit of neighborhoods, the city’s dining scene rewards curiosity and an appetite for variety.
Qu’est-ce que Chocolate ?: Chocolate venues celebrate cacao in many forms, from glossy bean-to-bar tablets to delicate bonbons and truffles. Menus commonly highlight single-origin bars, percentage blends, and seasonal creations that showcase roasting profiles and careful tempering. Guests might explore tasting flights, comparing aromas ranging from fruity and floral to nutty and toasted. Classic confections such as ganache-filled pralines, macarons, and chocolate-dipped fruits appear alongside pastries like mousse cakes, fondants, and tarts. Warm options often include silky hot chocolate, sometimes steamed to café-style textures, as well as mochas and chocolate infusions. Many places suggest pairings with coffee, tea, or desserts, inviting slow, mindful enjoyment. Open workshops or glass-walled kitchens occasionally offer a glimpse of grinding, conching, and molding, adding a craft element to the visit. Whether seeking a quick sweet or a contemplative tasting, this category presents a versatile experience centered on depth of flavor and texture.

Long-established chocolate store
2015,10
Leaving Calbee Plus Essence, I wandered around Hakata aimlessly.
I thought I would be able to find at least a cafe if I wandered around the Hakata station area.
But I guess you need to do some research before you go to an unfamiliar city.
While I was wandering around, I found a chocolate store nearby and decided to stop by.
I went there at the beginning of October, and it was so hot!
Thank goodness the chocolate store was cool!
Long-established chocolate store in Fukuoka Prefecture
This time we decided to buy our chocolates and go home!
My friend and I each chose two kinds to buy.
Chocolate almost always has alcohol in it.
My friend doesn't like alcohol at all, so she doesn't have much choice.
30 kinds? It's pretty hard to choose 2 types of chocolates out of about 30!
I had a lot of trouble narrowing it down to two!
I chose
Hakata Toyonoka Truffle
Citron
The phrase "Hakata Toyonoka" made me decide to buy it!
The aroma of strawberries fluttered through my nose, and I could feel the white chocolate.
It was sweet, but delicious!
I'm always curious about citron when it fits!
Sukidakara lemon candy!
You can imagine the fresh lemon aroma from its appearance!
I also like sweet and sour flavors, don't you?
On the day of the flight, we were forced to wait at the airport because the plane didn't take off due to the rain and wind.
I was relieved to have a piece of chocolate while waiting for the plane to take off.
I'm glad my friend said it was delicious!
Oh, and Mr. Roman, who was there two years ago, is no longer back in Japan!
I'm a little bummed...

Correction!
Lawrence with blue eyes was Mr. ......... Roman, Polish.
I wish I had seen his name tag!
By the way, my English teacher in high school was Lawrence, a Canadian.
Is that why I made a mistake?

A rare trip to Fukuoka with my junior, A-chan (3 days 2 nights 6)
Fukuoka has a lot of good restaurants that serve delicious sweets!
This is a chocolate store,
This chocolate shop has been in business since 1942!
During the war, the foreign word "chocolate" was banned.
After the war, the store was renamed "Chocolate Shop".
A junior who loves chocolate!
Let's drop by for a visit!
When we get to the store, a beautiful blue-eyed man welcomes us!
When you're backing up...
"All right! He says, "All right! He calls out to me.
But the "O-lai" is so pronounced and cute that it makes me smile!
His name is Lawrence and I saw his nametag!
When you enter the store, you will find a wide variety of fresh confections, baked goods, and chocolates!
There are many customers coming in and out of the shop!
There are so many to choose from: ・・・・
I went around the store and bought 3 items!
Hakata no Ishidatami 400 yen
Five layers of chocolate sponge, chocolate mousse, and whipped cream!
It is very smooth and the chocolate is sticky and thick.
but it is not too sticky.
My junior ate half of it, but it was so delicious!
I received compliments from her!
Sano sandwich 200 yen
The owner of the chocolate store is Mr. Sano
He is the second generation.
Moist sponge sandwiched between crispy chocolate
The texture is interesting and delicious!
Raw chocolate soft 315 yen
I split this one with my junior!
The chocolate is so rich!
It was so rich and sticky, you could really taste the chocolate in your mouth!
The nuts and crunchy chocolate are also in it, so the texture is also very good.
But even though it's so rich, it doesn't feel bad in your mouth
I wanted to buy so many more, but decided against it...
There are antenna stores at Fukuoka Airport and Hakata station, too!
I... forgot to buy anything...
Lawrence will see you off on your way home!
His blue eyes are really nice.
I couldn't help but wave down and he looked back at me!
And then, from my junior
I was so embarrassed! I'm so embarrassed!
I'm more embarrassed when I'm with my juniors.
Laurence waved me down until he couldn't see me anymore.
Thank you Lawrence! I hope I can come again!
