Hourai-en Karuizawa is a newly opened Korean-style barbecue restaurant in Karuizawa, offering dishes that replicate and enhance the flavors of a long-established yakiniku restaurant from Niigata. The menu features a wide variety of meat side dishes, particularly yukhoe and hormone sashimi, reminiscent of authentic Korean barbecue establishments. The beautifully presented salted tongue and wagyu harami are must-tries here.
