A hidden gem where you can enjoy ramen and yakitori

Men-dokoro Kaneko is a proud establishment located just a 2-minute walk from Ofuna Station, offering delicious ramen and yakitori. The charcoal-grilled yakitori is exquisite, and the ramen features a light soy sauce broth with chicken and bonito base. The interior mainly consists of counter seats, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. It's a wonderful spot that suits any occasion, from casual outings to special days.

It's a small shop with only a counter, and as soon as you sit down, the fragrant smell of charcoal spreads around. The potato salad that came out first became creamier when I broke the soft-boiled egg, and I couldn't stop using my chopsticks. The yakitori, carefully grilled over charcoal, is plump and juicy, both the liver and the heart. The dry ramen is topped with lemon and aonori, and when mixed well, it spreads a refreshing flavor. It's also nice to enjoy a variety of noodles, such as curry ramen and the daily special soy sauce soup. You can feel the owner's dedication in every dish, and it was a cozy place where you could relax and chat with regulars.
