Ohitsu-gohan is very delicious on its own at first. When paired with fragrant condiments and wasabi soy sauce, the change in flavor is enjoyable. You can pour dashi over it at the end and eat it lightly, allowing you to experience multiple flavors in one go. There are many types of ingredients, and combinations like salmon and ikura are satisfying. The fluffy rice goes well with miso soup and pickles, providing a comforting experience. It's nice to be able to relax at a table, and the self-service water is convenient.
