For lunch the other day, we went to Picantilly Sapporo Ekimae in Sapporo, Hokkaido 🍛. Speaking of Hokkaido, soup curry is a must! 🇮🇳 You can choose from "light", "tomato" or "thick" soup. I chose the "rich" type 👍 I was torn between the various main ingredients, but I decided on the "stewed beef tendon" and added the topping "zangi" (fried chicken in Hokkaido)😘. When it came out, I was surprised to see how big it was 😂😂 However, the spicy soup and delicious ingredients were so delicious that I found myself eating it all 😋. I don't eat soup curry very often, but it's delicious ✨✨ I think I'm going to be addicted to it 🤤.

The soup, with a film of oil floating on the surface, is far removed from the smooth and silky soups that are popular these days. The richness of the bouillon and the spices are well balanced, creating a refined and deep soup with a complex flavor that cannot be tasted anywhere else 👏. ◎Rice Amount of rice Price None -50 yen Half -30 yen Less -20 yen Normal free Medium +50 yen Large +100 yen Extra large +200 yen The default portion is much smaller. Men may want to order a large serving. ◎Toppings Eggplant, carrot, potato, green pepper, pumpkin, and quail egg. Eggplant, green pepper, and pumpkin are cooked uncooked. Carrots, potatoes and burdock are cooked by boiling. Chicken is fried. It is very crispy and tastes just the way it is, with no special seasoning. It is recommended to dip it in soup. The crispiness remains, but the flavor of the soup is added. You can enjoy the texture and the taste of the soup 🤗. 💁‍♂️Most memorable toppings Pumpkin, it was outstandingly sweet among the vegetables! It was complemented by the spiciness of the soup, and the texture was very tasty and hokey. ◎Hotness Selected 1, the door of perception. The spiciness varies depending on the base: 3.8 billion year old wind > medicinal herbs > creation. The 1 spicy 3.8 billion year wind and the 2 spicy medicinal herbs were equally spicy. I can eat spicy as much as other people, but it was enough to eat deliciously! I think it would be better to lower the level of spiciness by one level from what I would order at other restaurants. The dish containing the soup curry has a raised bottom about 1/4 of the way up. This is to make it easier to cut the ingredients. I was using it to prevent the chicken from soaking into the curry and to avoid bones, but now that you mention it, it makes sense. ✍️About the restaurant Lunch time from 11:30am to 2:00pm. 50 yen cheaper than usual. [Picante] I was told that I should go to Picante's Soup Curry, so I went there on my way to Hokkaidai. The restaurant was full, even though it was not so convenient to get there. Soup: Ayurvedic 1/f (daily special) Ingredients/toppings: braised beef tendon, crispy pork, premier maitake mushrooms Spiciness: No amount (second spiciest) Chili pepper chopped I was worried about the quality of each curry since there are so many on the menu... but this place is so good... The soup is smooth and silky with vegetables blended in well, yet rich and thick, and the beef tenderloin is tender. The maitake mushrooms, however, I couldn't quite figure out what the premiere was... lol! I would like to come back again:) Ryota Fujihashi Thanks for the recommendation!
