Nostalgic Town Chinese Cuisine and Rajan Noodles

Kinkaen is a renowned establishment located in front of Akita Station, exuding the atmosphere of nostalgic town Chinese cuisine. Their simple yet exquisite ramen with a rich lard-infused soy sauce broth and the popular Rajan noodles, featuring a spicy broth packed with crunchy bean sprouts, are crowd favorites. Each dish is generously portioned, and the combination of ramen and fried rice is particularly delightful. This flavorful plate is perfect for a quick break during your travels or as a satisfying end to a night out.

At a traditional town Chinese restaurant in front of the station, there is a lively atmosphere as you pass through the noren (curtain). You can't take your eyes off the veteran chef's impressive cooking skills visible from the counter seats. The moist fried rice, infused with the aroma of red ham and the richness of soy sauce, makes it impossible to stop eating from the very first bite. The ramen in a light soy sauce broth has just the right amount of lard floating on top, perfectly complementing the well-prepared noodles. The stir-fried liver and garlic chives, coated in a rich sauce with crunchy bean sprouts and chives, was so delicious that it made me want to drink more beer. The cheerful shouts from the energetic staff were pleasant, and after the meal, both my stomach and heart were satisfied.
