Longstanding Tuscan Café and Trattoria

Mariano is a longtime family-run spot near Santa Trinita offering classic Tuscan flavors from morning through lunchtime. Guests highlight expertly prepared coffee, flavorful steak, and simple plates such as carpaccio and marinated vegetables. The former grocery retains its charm with shelves of old wine bottles and plenty of light, while counter sandwiches with local cured meats and wine create an easygoing, authentic atmosphere.
