A heartwarming vegan eatery in a traditional house

Peace is a vegan eatery located in the residential area of Omachi, Kamakura City, utilizing a 100-year-old traditional house where you can enjoy natural and heartwarming dishes. The interior has a spacious and open atmosphere, with greenery visible from the windows providing a soothing experience. The dishes are not only visually stunning but also feature a gentle flavor that treats the ingredients with care, offering an experience that feels like stepping into another world.

The calm atmosphere of the old folk house is pleasant, and the moment you enter, you feel as if you have come to a different world. The tatami seating and the gentle sounds of the wind and birds from the window create a relaxing environment. The vegan Jomon set meal is beautiful in appearance and color, and each bite offers a comforting taste. The careful handling of ingredients, such as daikon flowers and spring rolls, evokes a sense of nostalgia. I enjoyed a well-balanced meal that included okara hamburgers, simmered bamboo shoots and butterbur, and pumpkin soup. The cake and coffee were also impressive, especially the strawberry cake, which brings happiness both in appearance and taste.
