Authentic Italian cuisine in a hidden gem atmosphere

Western Kitchen La Dame Hiro is a hidden restaurant located in the bustling streets of Hiroshima, featuring a calm interior and chic decor that are truly appealing. From the moment you step off the elevator, you are greeted by warm lighting and a stylish ambiance that heightens your expectations. The dishes showcase seasonal ingredients, boasting delicate and gentle flavors that highlight culinary skill. Notably, the braised beef tongue in red wine is a standout dish, melting in your mouth and beloved by many.

The pasta can be chosen from garlic, tomato, or cream, and you will be satisfied no matter which one you order. The gratin is so hot that steam rises from it, and it is very delicious. The curry is a beef type with a hint of tomato, and its mild sweetness is pleasant. The potatoes, thinly sliced mushrooms, and broccoli are prepared separately from the roux, allowing you to enjoy different textures. The salad is visually stunning, and I was a bit surprised to find persimmons in the potato salad and green salad. The staff is friendly and approachable, making it a comfortable place to enter even alone.
