A Hidden Izakaya with an Abundance of Seafood and Warm Hospitality

True to its name, this izakaya features a variety of fresh seafood, with a whiteboard displaying around 40 diverse menu items, including medium fatty tuna and rock oysters. The sashimi and nigiri sushi are of high quality, and the chef is known for his willingness to accommodate requests for almost any dish. The seemingly stern yet genuinely warm smile of the owner makes this a place you’ll want to keep coming back to.

The interior of the restaurant, where you take off your shoes, is clean and allows for a relaxed atmosphere. There are counters and sunken seating, providing comfortable seating. The seafood dishes are abundant, and the sashimi platter is satisfying with its rich flavors. The appetizer selection is varied and enjoyable, and the salad is generous with a nice richness from the cheese as an accent. The rolled omelet, chicken wings, and seafood cheese okonomiyaki are also delicious, and you can even enjoy a tasting of local sake. I took home chirashi sushi, and it was just as delicious at home.
