Yachi Onsen Bunashizuku is known as one of Japan's three hidden hot springs, located in the Hakkoda Mountains. With a history spanning over 400 years, it offers local cuisine that makes the most of fresh, regional ingredients. Dishes featuring wild vegetables in spring and mushrooms in autumn are particularly popular, with the live iwana (mountain trout) dishes being exceptional.
