Dashi-Maki Tamago and Nostalgic Showa Retro Diner

Nestled along the lakeside road, the Showa retro diner 'Jujiya' is a beloved spot offering a wide range of options from takeout bento to in-house set meals. The spacious tatami seating and a small garden by the window create a calming atmosphere. The highlight of the menu is the fluffy dashi-maki tamago, along with a balanced selection of nostalgic home-cooked flavors such as sashimi and fried dishes. It serves as a relaxing spot for cyclists and locals alike, making it a convenient choice for both travelers and everyday diners.

With a traditional atmosphere, there is a showcase of bento boxes at the entrance, and you can also dine inside the restaurant. There are counter seats and tatami rooms, allowing you to relax while gazing at the decorations in the garden by the window. The bright staff provide attentive service, creating a warm environment that feels like a place of respite for the locals. The specialty dashi-maki (rolled omelette) is fluffy and soft, and you can enjoy it directly with condiments. The menu includes sashimi, ginger pork, fried chicken, shrimp tempura, hamburgers, and rice bowls, making it fun to choose. Located along the lakeside road, the sign is easily visible, and it's convenient to stop by by car or bicycle.
