Cafe Katsudo ☕✨
with Haru
( )
On this day, we had a revenge cafe activity!
First up was Wolf Coffee.
I went there at lunch time and was able to sit down easily with good timing.
In preparation for the day's goal, I decided to resist the temptation of the spicy aroma of curry (lol) and ordered two kinds of sweets that I had been curious about.
Haru-san had the Tororin custard pudding and I had the citrus blancmange 🍮🍊 topped with a generous amount of two kinds of citrus fruits. Very sweet! And juicy! I couldn't tell what kind of citrus it was, but one of them had a slight bitterness to it, kind of like a Buntan or something.
The lovely meringue on top was crunchy and melted in my mouth.
In between the citrus and the blancmange, there is a cream that is not too sweet. The blancmange is not too sweet, but has a gentle sweetness that complements the sweet citrus. The blancmange is a bit like a hardened milk pudding. The citrus juice in the pudding gives it a richness, but at the same time the citrus flavor gives it a refreshing aftertaste. It looks good after curry. 🙆♀️ I also had a bite of Haru-san's Tororin custard pudding, and as the name suggests, it has the texture that I like! And the taste of custard is so elegant. And then there is the bittersweet caramel sauce. I really wish they would make a pudding parfait with this 🍮🥺 lol
Lots of other sweets to try💦.
I like wolf coffee parfait so much, I want to go back for parfait 💕 And to the second shop 🚗 ³₃
To be continued.

A place to enjoy fresh seafood dishes and nostalgic ramen
Uogashi Gohan is a popular spot where you can enjoy a variety of side dishes, starting with fresh sashimi. The ramen, in particular, is highly praised for its perfect balance of soup, noodles, and char siu, while maintaining the traditional flavor of old-fashioned Chinese soba, making it a dish you’ll want to order every time you visit. With a wide selection of sashimi that highlights its freshness, you'll discover something new with each visit.
In a shop where you can feel the warmth of wood, as you take a seat, a faint aroma of soba wafts through the air. The thin noodles have a supple texture and slide down your throat pleasantly. Sweetly simmered shiitake mushrooms are topped on the dish, complementing the flavor of the soba well. The omelet is cooked to a firm consistency, and when paired with grated daikon, the taste is sharp and excellent. There is a rich variety of side dishes such as octopus rice and inari sushi, making it hard to put down the chopsticks. Finally, enjoying the creamy soba broth, a sense of satisfaction gradually spread within me.
Authentic Chinese cuisine in a modern and comfortable space

The restaurant is lively, and a nice aroma of oden spreads from the counter. You can choose from soba, udon, or kishimen noodles, and especially kishimen is easy to eat with its smooth texture. The flat noodles have a good elasticity, and the gentle broth pairs perfectly, making it very delicious. The Nagoya-style miso oden is rich in flavor, and everything from the eggs to the radish and thick fried tofu is full of umami. It's delightful that you can choose several types of oden with the set meal, adding to the fun of selection. There are also seasonal specials and secret menu items available, making the time spent deciding what to choose enjoyable.
The restaurant has a lively and enjoyable atmosphere, with counter seating available. The chirimen ginger rice has a pleasant aroma, and the crispy texture combined with the spicy ginger is delightful. The yellowtail sashimi is firm and conveys a rich flavor of fat. The fried horse mackerel is crispy and pairs well with the slightly sweet sauce. The somen noodles, kinpira, tuna salad, and miso soup all have a gentle flavor and none of them become boring. The daily special bento can be ordered by phone for takeout, and it offers a variety of side dishes including grilled mackerel, fried chicken, croquettes, and white sesame salad.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is lively and comfortable. It's fun to choose from the rice options, and the plum rice, red bean rice, and enoki mushroom mixed rice were all delicious. The main dishes of the day were all highly satisfying; the hamburger was tender and full of flavor, and the fried chicken was crispy and aromatic. The small side dishes were also carefully prepared, allowing you to enjoy simmered hijiki seaweed, spicy konjac, spinach gratin, and takana chijimi. The miso soup had a strong flavor of dried sardines, which was comforting. The dessert, zenzai, had a perfect balance of fragrant mochi and the gentle sweetness of homemade red bean paste, and it paired wonderfully with hot milk.
