The meat is tender, the sauce is delicious, and my favorite kimchi tomato is tasty too 😋
The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous, so when I go for yakiniku, I always choose 'Magariya'.
I think there are probably many regular customers. Since there aren't many seats, I think it's better to make a reservation in advance.

The charming buildings and the path leading from the gate are lovely, and the pond in the courtyard and the corridor are beautiful. While waiting, I was able to relax in a Western-style room, and the meal was served in a Japanese-style room with a tokonoma (alcove), allowing for a calm experience. The duck course includes small dishes, sashimi, and steamed dishes, as well as grilled and fried items. In particular, the duck sashimi and grilled duck are fresh, and the flavors of each part are well conveyed. The fillet grilled on a ceramic plate and the sautéed duck with green onions were also fragrant, making it hard to put down my chopsticks. There is a spacious tatami room suitable for groups, where you can leisurely enjoy the atmosphere of a banquet.

The skewer wrapped with pork belly and natto, as well as the rare tongue steak cut into dice, left a strong impression. I was also recommended to try yam steak with takana, which was a delightful combination that brought a smile to my face.
