It's a nice place with a nice atmosphere and good food. The only luxury would be if there was a call button on the table so we could order drinks and food more smoothly.

The meat grilled on a shichirin is fragrant and brings a smile to my face. It's fun to adjust the heat to my liking with the table dryer. The thoroughly prepared offal is particularly wonderful, with the textures of the upper offal, gatsu, and shintan each being different and never boring. Adding fresh garlic, ground nanban, and white sesame to the ginger-infused soy sauce enhances the deliciousness significantly. The fresh lamb, tongue, and kalbi are also very satisfying, and they pair excellently with white rice. The kimchi is delicious, and since there is meat available for takeout, it's easy to stop by during a drive.

The fresh sashimi is very abundant, allowing you to fully enjoy a platter that is characteristic of Hokkaido. The fluffy thick omelet and the deep-fried tofu with a good dashi aroma are also must-try dishes. There is a wide variety of snacks, including crab shell servings, pork skewers, and Zangi (fried chicken). The simmered butterbur served as an appetizer was fragrant and comforting in taste. The draft beer is crisp and pairs perfectly with the sashimi, and the chilled sake is also easy to drink. There are raised seating areas and a counter, creating a lively atmosphere where you can relax.

As I pass through the noren (fabric curtain), the lively atmosphere is a stark contrast to the quiet outside. Both the counter and the tatami seating are filled with locals and travelers alike, enjoying themselves with cheerful chatter. The sashimi, featuring crunchy turban shell and fluffy filefish, is incredibly fresh, bringing a smile to my face. A dish of eggplant topped with melting cheese is simple yet impressively cooked to perfection. There is an abundance of creative dishes that blend Japanese and Western styles, such as onion gratin and stir-fried dishes, making it hard to put down my chopsticks. The ramen I ordered to finish was delightful, with a chewy texture and a broth full of flavor, and I ended up drinking every last drop.
