The menu clearly showcases seasonal and local ingredients, and the food was delicious. The ingredients that the chef caught himself were great. I definitely want to visit during the spring wild vegetable season. There were a few disappointments. 1) The bonito sashimi was different from what I had in mind. I was expecting thicker slices with plenty of condiments, so it was a bit of a letdown. It was still quite tasty, though. 2) The call bell on the table didn't seem to be functioning, as I rang it about three times and no staff came. 3) I ordered mackerel sushi because I still had some sake left, but before that, the rice balls and a crunchy soup arrived. I wish they could pay a bit more attention to the order of the menu items.
