Speaking of Hakodate's gourmet food, Lucky Pierrot is the place to go, so we paid a visit to the main branch.
The area around the store was so brightly decorated that it looked like an amusement park. The store is very spacious and full of shutterbugs.
Since we were planning to climb Mt. Hakodate later, we decided to have a shake inside and take out the burger and fries to eat at the top of the mountain (we ended up eating them at our hotel because it was so cold).

The chicken is really tasty and tender even when cold! The sauce is just right and I could eat about three of them.

In a calm space where the warmth of wood spreads, the breeze from the window is very pleasant. Gentle piano jazz plays in the background, making it a comfortable place to spend time. The staff is warm and provides a relaxed service. The Japanese-style plate allows you to taste a variety of dishes little by little, and you can feel the quality and freshness of the handmade tsukudani and salad. You can choose between white rice or mixed rice, and the fluffy texture of the cooked rice is very much to my liking. In addition to tables for two or four, there are also seats for groups, allowing for a leisurely experience.
This beef has a very fine marbling, and when grilled, it releases a wonderful aroma. The fat melts smoothly without being heavy, and the rich flavor of the lean meat spreads gently. With cuts that are well-prepared, unique to direct sales, even when grilled thickly, the texture remains pleasant. The hamburgers made from ground meat are also fluffy and the flavor is distinctly felt. When grilled with just salt, the quality of the ingredients is clearly appreciated. True to its origin from a directly managed ranch, the strength and elegance of the black-haired wagyu, raised freely, come through.

The menu, primarily in kanji, sparked my imagination, and the guidance on how to eat the appetizers was fun. The creative sauces that utilized local ingredients from the southern region harmonized well, and each dish left a lasting impression. The attentiveness of the staff and chef was meticulous, and I was able to enjoy a leisurely and happy time.
