The famous shochu is obtained through a lottery system, and it seems that it is not sold at this store. Instead, I found the 'karaiimo candy,' which was really good, and I chose it as a gift. It is a candy made using the sweet potatoes used in the brewing process, with a soft chewiness and a rustic flavor that is pleasant. The package has that famous logo on it, which is likely to become a topic of conversation. While I was overwhelmed by the appearance of the building and couldn't tour the inside, the staff's response was very polite, which reassured me. The mellow and slightly sweet aroma of the shochu was also impressive, and I felt the brand's charm once again.
