We used this restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday.
We were very satisfied with the very tasty meat.
The staff at the restaurant was very kind! The kids were raving about the food.
My husband was also happy and it was a good birthday. Thank you very much!
The service from the staff was so excellent that the delicious dishes tasted even better. You can feel the care in both the service and the food, each and every one of them. Among them, the fatty liver, half-fried young chicken, grilled fish, salted tataki, and boiled autumn vegetables were exquisite. The half-fried young chicken is not only generous in portion but also very reasonable, offering great value for money! I heard that takeout is also available, so I plan to make a reservation for Christmas. We went for the first time with five people, and we had a pleasant time.
The ultimate experience of sake in a comfortable space
Sake En Hongo is a tranquil sake specialty shop located in front of Miyakonojo Station. It offers a wide selection of sake from all over the country, and when you tell the owner your preferences, they will suggest the perfect cup for you on the spot. Additionally, you can choose from various shapes and colors of ochoko (sake cups) while enjoying a luxurious moment tasting sake paired with savory snacks.
I found this place near the station and was drawn in by the pig sign. They have various dishes using black pork, all of which are appealing. The original sausage that was served first had just the right amount of saltiness and a strong umami flavor. The cutlet is thick, and the meat's fat is light, making it easy to eat without feeling heavy until the end. The sauce cutlet has a slightly sweet soy sauce that goes well with the rice, and the thigh meat is just the right tenderness. I was able to relax in a calm sunken kotatsu seat, and the staff's service was pleasant.

In particular, the ramen made with a secret thick soup is a unique delicacy that cannot be found elsewhere, captivating many visitors. The tender and juicy jidori dishes and the fun of grilling on the shichirin allow you to discover new charms with each visit. It's a cozy place perfect for those who want to savor the flavors of Miyazaki.
I went there for lunch with my family. I ordered one plate (with drink and dessert), and the plate had many items, each of which was delicious. The dessert that came out later was a set of chiffon cake, coffee jelly and chocolate o-hagi, which was very satisfying in taste and volume. My child ordered cheese toast, which was 4 cm thick and also very hearty. At the end of the visit, I bought a bagel handmade by the owner next to the cash register as a souvenir.
The atmosphere is always good as usual.
I think it's an atmosphere that women will like.
I was surprised by the chicken tataki I had for the first time last night. The finely chopped condiment green onions were piled high, and the meat was not visible. It was quite an excellent dish. The usual potato salad is also good.
