This is a tranquil inn located within the grounds of Kiyomizu Temple, where the style of taking off your shoes to enter is very comfortable. I was shown to a spacious tatami room, and the glass-paneled wooden sliding door was very lovely. The cuisine is diverse and centered around vegetables, showcasing meticulous preparation. There was a fragrant grilled eel dish, soft fish paste, and smooth sesame tofu, along with soba noodles, which left me very satisfied. The rice was served in a wooden container, allowing me to enjoy the differences in aroma and texture. Although it is in the mountains, riding the shuttle bus is exciting, and the warm hospitality of the staff is reassuring.
