Located in Horigome-cho, Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture, 'Fuji Everest Horigome' opened in August 2023 as the second branch of the Honmachi store, offering authentic Indian and Nepalese cuisine. In the spacious and bright interior, guests can enjoy freshly baked, chewy naan and a variety of set menus at reasonable prices, making it a beloved spot for locals for both lunch and dinner.
The seating includes counters, tables, and raised areas, creating an inviting atmosphere. The dishes are served promptly and look delicious from the start. The shrimp in chili sauce is firm and flavorful, with a nice spicy kick that comes later, making it excellent. The mapo tofu and stir-fried rice vermicelli are also well-seasoned, and the fried chicken has a crispy coating that is great. There is a wide variety of menu options, making it fun to choose, and they offer set meals, lunch, and all-you-can-eat and drink options. Takeout is available starting from a single dish, and the fried rice is fluffy and generous in portion. The staff is friendly and reassuring.
