The food was very good. However, I was disappointed by the small lunch menu...I wish they had gratin or spaghetti with three choices of Nikko-don, hamburger steak, and curry. I was very satisfied with the service and atmosphere. I also appreciate that you allowed us to make a reservation even though it was a holiday, as there were 6 of us. I had the hamburger steak and it was delicious.
Six relatives entered the restaurant. The restaurant staff was friendly.
The food was delicious, especially the yuba katsu.
However, the kitchen seems to be almost a one-operator operation, so I recommend that you come in well in advance.
This is a Chinese restaurant located a short walk from Tobu Nikko Station. The specialty, liver and garlic chives, features crispy fried liver topped with garlic chives, which is a style not often seen elsewhere. There is no unpleasant smell from the liver, making it easy to eat, and the rich flavor pairs well with rice, making you want to eat more. The mapo eggplant rice dish has just the right amount of spiciness and goes well with white rice. The atmosphere is frequented by regulars, and it feels loved by the locals. The wall menu also includes chilled mapo eggplant ramen, and the popular bean sprout noodles are also intriguing.
We had the chef's omakase course for lunch.
We were told no, that it would take some time...,
I wondered how long it would take,
However, considering the course content, I did not have the impression that it took too long, and we were able to enjoy our meal in a relaxed manner.
The dishes included Japanese wild vegetables, which are not originally Italian ingredients, and I was reminded that such a combination of ingredients is also delicious.
It was a delicious and enjoyable lunch that was well worth the price.
There are many dishes featuring yuba as the main ingredient, and each one has a careful flavor. The simmered rolled yuba has a gentle taste, and I really came to love it. You can enjoy yuba in various preparations such as sashimi, dengaku, and fried dishes. The combination of small bowls and simmered dishes is also enjoyable, and I kept using my chopsticks until the end. The balance of the final dish, soup, and sweets was good, and the purple sweet potato dumplings left a lasting impression. The staff's attentiveness is great, and I appreciate how efficiently they prepare everything.
This cozy restaurant offers soba and tempura made with local ingredients. The hand-made soba is aromatic, and when enjoyed with dipping sauce or salt, its flavor is further enhanced. The tempura, featuring fresh vegetables like maitake mushrooms, is crispy and light, allowing you to savor the natural taste of the ingredients.
