At the small entrance in the back alley, a cute noren (fabric curtain) sways, making me feel a bit excited. Inside, it has a rustic atmosphere, resembling a counter bar focused on grilled chicken. The handwritten blackboard menu gives a sense of age, and I like the unpretentious vibe. The skewers and stir-fried offal are grilled to perfection, and the mekabu (seaweed) and tomatoes make for nice palate cleansers. The oden (Japanese hot pot) warmed in the counter, especially the tofu, has a gentle flavor that is comforting. It has a cozy hideaway feel that allows for relaxation even when alone, and they are friendly in offering drink suggestions.
