Varietal: Blend; Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills; Acid5.7 g/l; pH: 3.81; Aging: Aged 19 Months in 35% New French Oak and 65% 2 and 3-year-old French Oak Barrels; Alcohol %14.2. Our Estate Destiny Ridge Vineyard was slated to become a rock quarry before we planted on this unique vineyard site. Today, we are honored for the natural beauty and terroir afforded to us by this amazing location and we are pleased to share it with you. Quarry Butte is an elegantly expressive six varietal blend that captures the unique terroir of Destiny Ridge Vineyard. A full-bodied red blend with pronounced aromas of ripe red plum, currant, wild raspberry, black plum, black cherry, fresh violets, cherry tobacco, and leather. In the mouth, ripe tannins and mouthwatering acidity intermingle harmoniously with ripe black plum, wild blackberries, cocoa, cherry tobacco, black pepper, toast, and baking spices. Pairs well with rich barbecued meats, hamburgers, roasted lamb, roasted root vegetables, and full-flavored cheeses
Varietal: Merlot; Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills; Aging: 36% New French Oak Barrels & 64% 1-Year-Old French Oak; Alcohol %14.4. Washington State has consistently flipped the script on the idea that Merlot is a boring, outdated grape only to be found on the bottom shelf. For this grape to truly shine it requires warm sunny days with cool nights to help it reach full maturity while retaining a balanced acidity. Here in the Horse Heaven Hills, we have that. Deep ruby in color, the 2017 Gravity opens with layers of fruity aromatics on the nose. Blackberry, cherry, strawberry, and a touch of blueberry pie jump from the glass, while earthy notes of leather, cocoa, and baking spice not only add complexity to the nose but remain present on the richly textured palate. Elegantly structured tannins complement the wine's cleansing acidity, leading to a lengthy finish. Although ready to drink now, this wine shows potential for cellaring upwards of five years. Please decant. Enjoy.
Varietal: Syrah; Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills; Aging: Aged 21 months in 32% new French Oak and 68% 2-3 year-old French Oak; Alcohol %14.4. This exquisite Syrah encompasses the robust flavors and characteristics to be expected from Destiny Ridge Vineyard. The fruit is hand-picked and fermented with 25% whole clusters to achieve a beautifully balanced wine. On the nose, vanilla and clove are warm and inviting. Ripe plum and blackberry reveal themselves both aromatically and on the palate. The elegant flavors integrate seamlessly with hints of earthiness and black currant. Dark chocolate and sweet cigar work with the plush tannins giving the mouthfeel a firm yet velvety structure
Varietal: Blend; Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills; Aging: Aged 19 months in 35% new French oak and 65% 2-year-old French oak barrels; Alcohol%: 14.3. We are truly blessed to have the terroir at our Estate Vineyard, Destiny Ridge, to grow not only the bold classic Bordeaux varietals but the rich and rare Rhone-style varieties as well. This Rhone red is blended and produced exclusively for our Wine Club Members. Our Alexandria Nicole Cellars winemaking team worked hand-in-hand with our 2019 Wine Club Blending Champion, Michael Davison, to bring this gem of wine directly to you. The 2017 Member's Only is a rarely seen Mouvedre backed blend showcasing beautiful aromatics of raspberry, Rainier cherry, plum, currant with earthy nuances true to the terroir. Blended to perfection, the wine demonstrates precise balance through the velvety tannin profile and pleasant acidity. The palate is filled with rich plum, blackberry, and cherry coming to a harmonious and lengthy finish leaving flavors of spice, blueberry, and hints of rose petal and violet lingering after every sip.
Varietal: Petit Verdot; Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills; Acid: 5.67 g/L; pH: 3.60 pH; Aging: Aged 18 months in 90% French oak and 10% American oak; Alcohol%: 14.2. Our Estate Grown Petit Verdot is truly the oxymoron as the name suggests. In the vineyard, the Petit Verdot yields open clusters with tiny berries. Tiny berry size leads to a high ratio of skin to juice contact during the fermentation process which creates a wine that exudes concentrated aromatics of cassis, blackberry, violet, raspberry, and a subtle hint of oak inspired cedar and vanilla. The palate offers fine, silky tannins that give the wine its velvety mouthfeel. A touch of American oak adds complexity with flavors of vanilla, cedar, and baking spice acting as a sideshow to the main act of black cherry, plum, and lilac. The cleansing acidity running the length of the wine and offers balance and a long-lasting finish. Don't be misled by its name, "Little Big Man", as this is a big and bold wine that can hold up to most grilled meats, even such as wild boar or pork belly. While it is drinking well now, this wine will only benefit from some cellaring time. Don't forget to decant!
Varietal: Malbec; Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills; Acid: 5.57 g/L; pH: 3.59pH; Aging: Aged 20 months in 45% new French oak, 55% neutral French oak; Alcohol%: 13.8
Varietal: Syrah; Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills; Acid: 5.8 g/L; pH: 3.6; Aging: 18 months in 30% new French oak and 70% 2-3 year old French oak barrels; Alcohol%: 14.5. This estate-grown Syrah is produced from the Sara Lee Clone in Block 17 and was co-fermented with whole cluster Viognier grapes. This technique is Old World in style and increases color extraction and increased acidity while opening up a wide range of expressive aromatics. Our Block 17 Syrah shows no shortage of color in its deep, dark inky complexion. An elegant bouquet of black currant, fig, raspberry, and ripe strawberry pair nicely with oak undertones of allspice and baking spice. The fruitiness of this wine carries through to the palate which is full of black raspberry, cherry, cocoa, and cured meat. This Syrah has a long finish with soft, velvety tannins. If consumed prior to 2020, please decant
Varietal: Albarino; Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills; Acid: 6.8 g/l; pH: 3.29; Fermentation: Stainless Steel Fermentation; Alcohol%: 13.2. On approaching this wine, pleasant aromas of lemon, lime, starfruit, and nectarine are followed by a floral component reminiscent of orange blossom. On the palate, our 2019 Albariño is crisp, clean, and light-bodied showing a wide array of citrus fruit that is sure to remind you of a tropical paradise. Meyer lemon, grapefruit, mango, and lime zest play beautifully off of an interesting touch of minerality. The fruitiness of this wine is balanced with a backbone of mouthwatering acidity, providing a clean and refreshing finish. Try with Dungeness crab, Kumamoto oysters on the half shell, or simply throw some Halibut or Sea bass on the grill. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Varietal: Rose; Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills; Acid: 6.25 g/L; pH: 3.4; Aging: Stainless Steel Fermentation; Alcohol%: 13.2. This year we decided to try a different take on our rose, using a few grapes we haven't in recent years. The result is a complex, fruity rose that is sure to be a favorite summertime sipper. On the nose lush strawberry, red raspberry and watermelon lead into honeydew, white peach, and a slight earthy component which adds complexity to what some consider and one-dimensional type of wine. Displaying the traditional light salmon color, it comes to life on the palate with concentrated flavors of Bing cherry, watermelon, candied fruit, and peach. A refreshing burst of acidity delivers a cleansing effect and finishes with hints of red currant and raspberry, with linger in the lasting finish. A fun and invigorating wine made for sipping outside on a hot day yet sophisticated enough for any wine-drinking occasion. If you're looking to partner the Rose with food, try a glass or two with charcuterie and cheese plates, shellfish, your favorite wood-fired pizza, and even some spicy dishes. Serve well chilled

Varietal: White Blend; Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills; Acid: 6.5 g/L; pH: 3.49 pH; Fermentation: Stainless Steel Fermentation; Alcohol%: 13.4. In the early 1900's, pioneering Sheepherders left their mark on the Horse Heaven Hills in the form of rock monuments. Many still stand along the ridgeline of our Estate Destiny Ridge Vineyard. Alexandria Nicole Cellars was the first to produce this classic Estate Rhone blend of Roussanne, Marsanne, and Viognier in Washington State and it has been our signature white wine since 2004. This year's Roussanne-based blend shows notes of tangerine, mango, and pear with a pleasing floral hit on the nose. A weighty palate filled with, honeysuckle, lemon, and melon give way to a bright flash of acidity, balancing out the wine and providing a sustained and elegant finish. Served chilled
Varietal: Roussanne; Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills; Acid: 6.7 g/l; pH: 3.51; Fermentation: Stainless Steel Fermentation; Alcohol%: 13.5. The 2019 growing season came with many challenges due to the cold temperatures that plagued much of Washington State in early October. Luckily, with medium-high temperatures running through August and September we received just enough growing days to ripen this lovely Roussanne. The 2019 Roussanne shows all the characteristics we look for in this Rhone white. On the nose, this wine is bursting with aromatics of Meyer lemon, apricot, and Bartlett pear. Nuances of tea and chamomile add to a complexity that is only achievable through meticulous care and dedication in the vineyard. The palate shows an abundant amount of apricot, peach, and tropical flavors of mango and pineapple. A medium-bodied wine with a defined acidic backbone balances out the weight of the palate providing a refreshing and lengthy finish. Roussanne is great for some intriguing food matches, so try pairing with semi-soft cheeses such as fresh blue cheese and triple cream, or roasted chicken and Blanquette of veal
Varietal: Viognier; Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills; Acid: 6.4 g/l; pH: 3.51; Fermentation: Stainless Steel Fermentation. Hand-harvested and whole cluster pressed fruit from our Estate Vineyard and the Crawford Vineyard combine to make the core of this Washington State Viognier. The meticulous care in the vineyard shown by both growers speaks volumes in this wine as it displays layers of floral aromas backed by white grapefruit, lemon, and Asian pear. On the pallet, tropical notes of mango, pineapple, and nectarine show nicely with a touch of orange zest and honeydew melon. A balanced flash of acidity provides a refreshing and long-lasting finish. This graceful and entertaining Rhone white can easily be enjoyed while sipping poolside or savor a glass with fresh seafood like Dungeness crab, black cod or lemon and macadamia nut crusted halibut. Also, get creative and pair with some things more on the wild side like cashew chicken, blackened sea bass with rosemary and thyme polenta, or something fun like sweet and savory baked chicken with pineapple and tarragon glaze

Vintage: Non Vintage; Varietal: Blend; Acid: 6.0 g/l; pH: 3.37; Aging: Stainless Steel; Alcohol%: 13.2
Our two new premium canned wine brands each have a Red Wine (Cabernet Sauvignon backed blend), a White Wine (Roussanne, Marsanne, and Sauvignon Blanc blend), and a Rose (Counoise backed blend)
