Founded in the 15th year of Genroku era (1702). The name originates from a large pine tree called 'Gyopeimatsu' that also appears in The Tales of Ise. It has a light taste that pairs well with seafood dishes, and is delicious whether served warm or cold.
When held in the mouth, the floral scent turns into a vanilla aroma in the throat, and the taste is characterized by a silky smoothness. This sake is made by filling only the clearest middle portion obtained by excluding the rough first run and the final pressing. Please enjoy it chilled.
