A heartwarming soba restaurant that evokes nostalgia

Soba-dokoro Kotobuki is a small eatery located near Azumabashi, cherished by locals as a renowned soba shop. The soba is fragrant and has a smooth texture, with many nostalgic elements in the toppings. The evening snack menu is particularly extensive, making it a place where you might find yourself lingering longer, suitable for izakaya-style dining. It's a warm establishment where you can fully enjoy the charm of traditional Japanese soba.

This is a well-regarded local restaurant with a rich variety of set meals that make choosing enjoyable. The soba noodles are white and thin, with a firm texture, and the long, straight noodles are pleasant to slurp. You can sense a light soba aroma and a subtle sweetness, with a refreshing aftertaste. The dipping sauce is mildly sweet and sharp, pairing very well with the noodles. The tempura bowl features shrimp, squid, eggplant, and sweet potato, each with its own delicious flavor, and the shrimp is particularly plump and impressive. The sweet and savory sauce clings well to the batter, and the restaurant is well-maintained, making for a pleasant dining experience.
