This soba restaurant in Yamato Town has a calming atmosphere that makes use of a traditional wooden house. There is also an irori (a sunken hearth), and the warm interior is very comfortable. The cold sarashina soba has a translucent color and a smooth texture. The sweetness spreads as you chew, and the supple firmness is enjoyable. The coarsely ground noodles are thin yet have a nice bite, and the aroma of buckwheat husks wafts up. The bonito broth is refreshing, and you can taste the deliciousness even without using any condiments.
