A hidden gem of a heartwarming sushi restaurant

Sushi Yoshi is a cozy and welcoming sushi restaurant beloved by locals. You can enjoy fresh ingredients displayed across the counter and live seafood that is prepared right after you place your order. The marinated tuna and red clam, in particular, are praised for their melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. The warm hospitality of the owner is also a highlight, ensuring that every visit is a soothing experience.

The restaurant is located in a quiet area a short walk from the station, creating a calm atmosphere. The interior is small and centered around a counter, with handwritten menus and a television, making it a comfortable place to spend time. The sashimi, including shellfish and white fish, is fresh, and the flavor expands with each bite. The grilled scallops in their shells with butter and soy sauce have a wonderful aroma, and the mitsuba (Japanese wild parsley) adds a nice accent. The nigiri has a good harmony between the rice and the topping, especially the marinated tuna, which leaves a lasting impression with its melt-in-your-mouth texture. The horse mackerel is carefully filleted after ordering, and I was satisfied to enjoy it as namerou (a type of fish paste).
