This shochu, named after the famous horse from 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms' that 'runs a thousand miles in a day', is made from Kagoshima Prefecture's sweet potato 'Kogane Senkan' and natural water that springs from volcanic ash soil and the Shirasu plateau. It is truly a product born from the climate of Kagoshima. Slowly aged, it has a smooth texture typical of sweet potato shochu, making it easy to drink. Additionally, its rich and robust flavor is also appealing. It can be enjoyed throughout the year on the rocks or with water.
This is a sake that uses yellow koji, which has broken the preconceived notion of sweet potato shochu's strong sweet potato smell with its citrus aroma. It has a smooth and easy-to-drink quality, and to enjoy the aroma, it is recommended to drink it on the rocks.

More brown sugar is added than usual, and black koji is used. The aroma of brown sugar is distinctly present, creating a sharp impression with a clean finish and a refreshing taste.
Incorporating the brewing techniques of the Japanese sake 'Hakkaisan', this sake uses sake yeast and yellow koji, and is carefully managed through a 'three-stage brewing' process. By adding sake lees during fermentation, it features a subtle aroma reminiscent of ginjo sake, characterized by a calm and dignified fragrance. Aged for more than 2 years.
