Directly operated by the Onkata Fish Farm in Hachioji, you can enjoy fresh sashimi of iwana (char), ayu (sweetfish), and yamame (landlocked salmon), as well as some uniquely prepared fried dishes. The charm of this restaurant lies in its creative use of river fish, ensuring nothing goes to waste, such as making bone crackers after finishing the sashimi.

You can see the process of preparing and grilling river fish from the counter, which is exciting. The live fish sashimi made from the fish in the tank has a great texture, and it tastes even better when eaten with rock salt. The bones left after eating are deep-fried, making for a great snack. The eel skewers can be enjoyed as white grilled or kabayaki, and you can savor the fins and tail as well, with the aroma and texture being superb. The grilled iwana (char) and vegetables, along with grilled rice balls, have a comforting taste that pairs perfectly with drinks. The atmosphere of the U-shaped counter is pleasant, allowing you to relax while enjoying the savory aroma of bone sake.
