A renowned Taiwanese restaurant where you can savor authentic flavors

Din Tai Fung Takashimaya Yokohama is a beloved establishment known for its Taiwanese cuisine. The xiaolongbao, served piping hot, allows you to enjoy the authentic taste of Taiwan right in Japan. The shrimp shumai and vegetable dumplings are also exquisite, providing a time of relaxation for both the mind and body.

It is always lively, and the store is bustling. The soup dumplings have a thin skin that doesn't tear easily, and the heat is just right, allowing the soup to spread out deliciously. When paired with ginger, the aroma is wonderful, and the umami is enhanced even more. The steamed dumplings are plump, and you can distinctly taste the flavors of shrimp and pork. There is also a variety of noodles available, including shrimp noodles and dan dan noodles. In addition to the snack menu, there is also a Taiwanese-style fluffy milk ice dessert, which left me satisfied until the end.
