Motsunabe (Miso Chige) / Teriyaki Style with Young Chicken / Dashimaki Tamago (rolled egg) I wanted to try Horikawa's motsunabe! I was quite curious about this restaurant because they use butcher's tidbits x noodle shop's tidbits. I was hungry, so I ordered other dishes that are only available at night. The chicken was deep-fried and grilled, and the teriyaki sauce and mayonnaise made me crave for rice (I had to hold off on the rice because I had to finish the meal). The dashimaki tamago has a gentle broth that spreads in your mouth. The dashimaki tamago has a gentle broth that spreads in the mouth. And then, the motsu nabe (hot pot), which was my favorite! I was so excited by the size of the motsu (pork). As expected of a noodle shop, the soup is very soupy, almost like a "miso chige stew". There is no smell at all, and the sweetness of the fat is delicious. I think this is the first time I've ever felt "fluffy" when I ate a pork chop. Finally, the udon noodles appeared (I was so engrossed in eating that I forgot to take a picture of it). I couldn't help but snatch it up at the sight of it. It was firm, fragrant, and delicious! I had to hurry to put it in because I was afraid I would not be able to stop before I put it in the pot. The udon noodles soaked up the flavor of the soup, and the closing dish was gone in no time. I'm curious to try other flavors of motsu-nabe, and I also want to eat a variety of noodles, so I'm in a bit of a pickle.
