An Izakaya to Enjoy Local Flavors and Comfort

Located about a 7-minute walk from the east exit of Matsudo Station in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture, 'Madoi' is a traditional Japanese izakaya that opened in 2013. The restaurant features a warm and calming atmosphere with counter seating and small raised tatami areas. All seats are smoking-friendly, providing a spacious environment for guests to relax. It is a homely place loved by regular customers.

This is a calm izakaya located a short walk from the east exit of the station. It has a counter and a tatami room in the back, making it easy to use for both individuals and groups. The dishes selected from the blackboard menu are all easy to snack on and go well with drinks. The shrimp spring rolls are freshly fried, and the shrimp are plump, which was very satisfying. There is a variety of local sake available, and with strong chu-hai and a TV, it feels comfortable even if you just drop in. There is also a moderately private tatami room, and I felt it was a place where you can relax without pretense.
