A renowned Hamamatsu restaurant offering exquisite gyoza and ramen

Hamataro Gyoza Center features an attached gyoza factory and prides itself on using carefully selected ingredients for its gyoza. The wrappers are made from Hokkaido wheat flour, and the fresh cabbage is sourced from local contracted farmers. The gyoza, made with 'Hamanako Sodachi' brand pork, are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. In addition to a variety of gyoza, their specialty ramen is also popular. This charming establishment offers the added attraction of factory tours where you can see the production process.

The handmade wrappers release a gentle aroma of domestically produced wheat, bringing happiness with every bite. The grilled surface is crispy, and the juices from the meat melt in your mouth, while the sweetness of the vegetables is also distinctly felt. The red and white dumplings have different flavors, and both can be enjoyed without getting tired of them. The unique variations with sakura shrimp and shiso have a rich aroma that makes it hard to put down the chopsticks. The ramen features firm noodles and a robust broth that pair perfectly, making the combination with the dumplings the best. Trying the sesame sauce and yuzu pepper on the table little by little added a change in flavor that kept me excited until the end.
