This is a takeout-focused shop, but you can eat right there in a nearby space. They grill your order after you place it, so it's nice to receive it fresh off the grill. The eel is tender, and the sauce has a perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness that pairs wonderfully with the rice. There are also extra sauce and sansho pepper available, allowing you to enjoy variations in flavor. A small piece of Nara pickles adds an accent, keeping it interesting until the end. There are seats at the shop and tables you can use while standing, making it convenient to eat on the spot.
