A special gourmet experience with breathtaking views

"Atelier" is a restaurant located in a luxurious setting within the ANA InterContinental Beppu Resort & Spa, overlooking Beppu Bay. Here, you can enjoy dishes made with fresh local ingredients in a live cooking atmosphere right before your eyes. Each dish is a wonderful experience that satisfies the senses of sight, smell, and taste, and the wine pairings are particularly exquisite. It's a special space you would want to visit for important occasions, accompanied by beautiful scenery.

In a calm space with a resort-like feel, you can enjoy a pleasant experience from start to finish. The counter surrounds the kitchen, and it's exciting to see the finishing touches being made right in front of you. The course flows well from amuse-bouche to appetizers, main dishes, and desserts, with wonderful sauces and side dishes. The ingredients from Oita are abundant, and the fugu from Usuki, cheese from Yufuin, and Oita wagyu particularly left an impression. I was surprised by the pairing of the meat with Oita barley shochu, and both orange wine and white wine also pair nicely. The service is pleasant, and since the number of seats is limited, it's reassuring to make a reservation before going.
