Kineya Morioka Station Fezan is a spacious udon restaurant located within the station building, where you can enjoy a leisurely meal. The kitsune udon, featuring a Kansai-style broth and thick fried tofu, harmonizes perfectly to warm you up. Its comforting flavor is just right for soothing the fatigue of the day.

Since it is directly connected to the station and located underground, it is easy to stop by casually. The udon noodles are slightly thin, smooth, and have just the right amount of chewiness, making me happy every time I eat them. The dashi, flavored with bonito, has a gentle taste that seeps into the body. The thick, sweet fried tofu and the simple pork belly curry are also star ingredients in their own right. There is also a light drinking set that includes tempura, itawasa, and edamame, which is perfect for when you want to have a light drink. I think it’s a wonderful place where you can slowly enjoy udon and sake, as the atmosphere is not too noisy.
