A hidden gem of authentic Chinese cuisine

Taikojou is a traditional Chinese restaurant that stands apart from typical town eateries, offering exquisite dishes. Their chilled Chinese noodles, in particular, boast exceptional flavors with its ingredients, presentation, and noodles, satisfying many visitors. They also provide self-service for soup and rice, allowing diners to enjoy their meals in a relaxed manner. Additionally, the quiet and serene interior creates a surprisingly bright and comfortable atmosphere.

The atmosphere that appears at the bottom of the stairs is a bit like a hideaway, which is lovely. You can relax in the retro lighting and calm interior. The fried yakisoba with five ingredients has fragrant noodles coated in a generous sauce, allowing you to enjoy delicious shrimp and squid as well. The sour and spicy tanmen has a perfect balance of acidity and heat, and the texture of the noodles is pleasant. I also like the casual style of getting rice, soup, dessert, and pickles by myself. The taste reflects the skill of the person cooking, and I think it's a place with high overall satisfaction.
