A hidden gem for Southern French cuisine
Da Meo Pataka is a small, hidden restaurant where you can fully enjoy the charms of Southern French cuisine. Upon entering, you are greeted with a pleasant atmosphere and a succession of handmade dishes that bring smiles and warmth. The sea urchin mousse is particularly exquisite and can be enjoyed with a selection of new recommended wines.

I had a lot of time left until the appointment.
I used to eat soft ice cream at the carnival.
Oh, yes, there was a frog store here.
I walked down Nakamichi-dori Street, reminiscing about those days.
That is when I found DA MEO PATAKA.
When I peeked inside the store, the counter was empty, so I decided to pay a visit.
The chef had a soft face in the homelike space.
The memories of Kichijoji also helped, and I felt a feeling that could best be described as "dusty.
I have plans for later, so I would like to have something light..." I asked. He recommended the assortment of cold vegetables.
So I ordered it, and with a glass of sparkling wine in hand, I enjoyed the hot fava beans that had been charged to the table.
As I sipped my wine, I was reminded that it was springtime, and the sparkling fish and shellfish appeared in a variety of outfits.
There were five kinds of seafood: bonito, salmon, kibinago, and boiled and raw octopus.
As someone who likes to have a little bit of everything, I was very pleased with this dish.
I especially liked the raw mizudako octopus with ume plum paste and green laver.
The aroma of the sea, the sourness of the plum paste, the texture of the octopus, and the Sauvignon Blanc went well together.
Although our stay was short, we had a good time.
I left the restaurant saying, "I hope I can visit again at a more leisurely pace.
