Vorrei davvero tornare.
It was Sunday, and as expected, Kichijoji was crowded. Making a reservation was the right choice. The situation at the popular restaurant was clear from the number of people waiting. I recommend making a reservation! Both the pasta and pizza were very delicious! The salad also had a lot of rare vegetables and was tasty. The serving timing was exquisite, and the replacement plates were provided warm. The cost performance and taste were both very satisfying. It was a restaurant I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.
Since I usually pair Japanese food with wine, I was happy to find wine available. I ordered a bottle of sparkling wine. I started with a sashimi platter. It was my first time eating grouper sashimi. The bonito was also very delicious (even though I'm not usually that fond of it). Sashimi platters are always available at izakayas, but this is the first time I've had the impression that I definitely want to eat it again. On the other hand, regarding the seating, it was at the counter, but it felt a bit cramped. I had ordered about two dishes, and with the wine cooler also on the counter, it required some creativity on how to arrange everything. Additionally, during this season, every time the door opens, cold air comes in... So, while I was very satisfied with the meal, I think it might be better to avoid a counter seat near the door.

It was a nice space and the full course was not too heavy. We only reserved a table, but were surprised when our food was automatically brought to us. I am glad it was not expensive, though.
Kichijoji Amrita Shokudo
✳︎ Tom Yam Ramen
✳︎ Vermicelli salad
Amrita lunch is now closed on Thursdays starting this month 🍜.
It's been a while since I've been there, but lunch now comes with a salad and soup buffet! I'm so happy to see a lot of vegetables ♡.
The restaurant is child-friendly and was very busy even during weekday lunch. They have an all-you-can-drink menu at night, so I was a frequent customer when I was a bon vivant student 🍻.
Chopsticks Kichijoji is a hidden gem of a Vietnamese restaurant that features fresh pho made with domestically sourced rice noodles. The interior is clean and charmingly decorated, allowing you to enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Every dish is exquisite, made without chemical seasonings, and the chewy pho is particularly addictive.
All of the work was done meticulously, and the sushi was very delicious. I was also satisfied with the various appetizers before the nigiri. The abalone with liver sauce was exceptional, especially when mixed with rice later to create a kind of Japanese-style risotto! The sushi rice had a refined flavor from the red vinegar. Additionally, the pickled ginger served as a palate cleanser was truly delicious, making me want to ask for more several times! This is definitely a place I want to visit again!
I came to this restaurant after being recommended by the chef at the place where I work! The hidden atmosphere was calm and very comfortable. Above all, both the food and the wine were incredibly delicious, making it the best time! The seafood paella was exquisite♪ I will definitely go again!

The waitstaff was energetic, friendly, easy to talk to, and very attentive to their customers, asking if they wanted to order anything when they looked at the menu. The food was also excellent. The sashimi platter, corn tempura, fried taro, shrimp porridge, everything was so good I jumped. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also great. There was a big nebuta? s face, and I thought it must have been cleaned without any dust.
Thank you very much. I would like to come back again.
It was unfortunately rainy, but we had a nice view from our window seat. All the teas were delicious, and I liked them so much that I ended up buying some after the bill! The scones were a bit crumbly, like KFC biscuits? They were crunchy and tasty! The clotted cream was different from what I expected, but overall it was delicious and good. Even though it was hot outside, the tea served was hot, so if you prefer something cold, it might be a good idea to order it as an option.
