We are committed to every process. We strive to produce high-quality shochu under thorough temperature control. All distillation is done using atmospheric distillation, resulting in handcrafted authentic shochu.
It has a vibrant citrus aroma and a refreshing taste that is popular among women, unlike traditional sweet potato shochu. The brewer, Yoichiro Nishi, created this shochu with the concept of 'shochu to be enjoyed on the rocks.'
Rich and mellow flavor. We are particular about the unglazed 'kame-tsubo' from Jiangsu Province, China. This is a product that we definitely want you to try at least once.
Made from the legendary purple sweet potato 'Murasaki Masari' registered as a variety in 2002. This is a completely new type of sweet potato shochu characterized by a lingering sweetness and an elegant aroma.
During the latter part of World War II, many young soldiers from Chiran, the hometown of this shochu, were dispatched. The label is designed by Mr. Akihisa Torihama, the grandson of Tame Torihama, who is known as the mother of the special attack units. Please enjoy the unique flavor and taste of black koji.

This is the flagship of Toyonaga Brewery, which is dedicated to its ingredients and production. The ingredients are organic natural rice produced by 16 contracted farmers in the local Oku-Kuma area. The brewing process is handmade, with the koji made in a stone room built in the 8th year of the Taisho era, and the primary fermentation is done in small batches using earthenware jars. It has a subtle ginjo aroma and a soft, elegant taste that never gets boring.
