Bottle (kept for 1 month) 720ml 3,800 yen. Sagara 25 degrees (Kagoshima City, Sagara Shuzo Co., Ltd.) 450 yen. This sweet potato shochu has a soft mouthfeel and smoothness, brewed with white koji. The aroma is calm, making it recommended even for those who are not used to drinking sweet potato shochu. Be sure to try it with hot water! Bright Farm Village 25 degrees (Kirishima Shrine, Kirishima City, Kagoshima) 500 yen, this shochu brings out the natural sweetness of sweet potatoes, resulting in a rich flavor. Enjoying it on the rocks reveals wonderful aromas and flavors. I want to try various options and slowly enjoy them along with the romance of revival. Bottle (kept for 1 month) 720ml 3,500 yen Sato 25 degrees (Kagoshima Prefecture, Kirishima City, Sato Sake Brewery) 520 yen Contains more high-quality fatty acids than regular wheat shochu, resulting in a rich umami and aroma, expressing the texture, softness, and straightforward sweetness of the wheat ingredients. When diluted with hot water, its deliciousness and sweetness stand out. The well-defined flavor is sure to impress connoisseurs. Shuro Kuromugi 25 degrees (Miyazaki Prefecture, Kushima City, Shuro Sake Brewery) The aroma and sweetness of wheat unique to atmospheric distillation are rich. It is a mellow shochu due to long-term aging.
With a quality of 25 degrees (Niigata Prefecture, Minami-Uonuma City, Hakkaisan Co., Ltd.) 500 yen sake 'Hakkaisan' incorporates brewing techniques, using sake yeast and yellow koji, and is produced with meticulous moromi management through 'three-stage fermentation'. By adding sake lees during the fermentation process, it is a shochu distilled under reduced pressure from a moromi that has a faint ginjo aroma. It is characterized by a calm and dignified fragrance. It is carefully brewed with selected ume fruits, honey, and sugars, and aged for over a year, with brandy added as an accent. '2003 Monde Selection Gold Award Winner' Tantakatan 20% (Godo Shusei Co., Ltd., Asahikawa City, Hokkaido) ¥450 [All-you-can-drink eligible] This shochu is a blend of refreshing class A shochu and distilled shochu made from perilla leaves. It has a fragrant aroma of perilla and a smooth mouthfeel, making it popular among women.
