It is just a short walk from the station, and the counter and sunken tatami seating make it comfortable. The tempura is lightly battered and crispy, with a good balance of seafood and vegetables, which is satisfying. The sashimi, including sea bream, sweet shrimp, and kanpachi, is carefully sliced, and the condiments are well-prepared. The chawanmushi has a rich flavor from the dashi, is smooth and creamy, and the umami of the shrimp, scallops, and chicken spreads throughout. The miso soup with aosa seaweed and clams, the small dishes of dried daikon and hijiki, and even the pickled vegetables show no shortcuts, and you can feel the care in each dish. The anmitsu for dessert, with handmade shiratama and agar, left me feeling happy until the very end.
