It's fun to have freshly fried skewers served one by one at the counter. The batter is finely textured and crispy, and thanks to the camellia oil, it has a light mouthfeel that makes it delicious until the last bite. There are also omakase and course options, and I appreciate that they can remove items I don't like. The variety is rich, ranging from classics like shrimp wrapped in shiso, asparagus, shiitake mushrooms, and pork tenderloin to seasonal offerings. The sauce is homemade, allowing you to customize the flavor with a thicker sauce, soy sauce, or lemon. I'm also happy that it comes with salad, small dishes, rice, and miso soup, and I was able to get a refill on the rice.
