I have never in my life experienced such blatant racism before. This small curry house's owner or manager (an old Japanese male) should not be working in the service industry. It would've been more polite to just ask us to leave because the establishment did not cater to non Japanese people. But instead, he not only shouted and screamed at me and my family member when we couldn't quite understand his question as well as scream at my other family members to sit down when they literally just arrived within the establishment, he also served us with rice, lots of sauce and only 1 piece of meat no bigger than the size of a thumb. To add insult, he served the 2 Japanese men beside us with normal looking dishes with large pieces of meat portions. Suffice it to say that we do not recommend this establishment. If your Japanese, then your fine. The sauce was quite good. The ambiance and character of the person running it however, is a disgrace not only generally, but to all Japanese people. To all foreigners, beware of this hateful person in this curry house in Shibuya.

Long-established restaurant in Shibuya. I pass by it every day on my way to work, but after a year and a half I finally got in 😏🍛👏. The master here is probably the loudest person I've ever heard in my 25 years of living on the WWW.

Original Shrimp Rice

Although it is like a dry curry, it is a unique dish with a sweet and spicy taste. It seems to be a specialty of Okayama, but we have been in business with the original shrimp rice for over 40 years, so it must be old. It also comes with coleslaw, which is also exquisite.
