A heartwarming izakaya where you can savor the blessings of the port town

Izakaya Doji is a place where you can enjoy fresh seafood and homestyle flavors. The fresh catch from Maizuru's port is offered as daily specials that change according to the season and availability. The sashimi, in particular, boasts a freshness and deliciousness that you won't find in Tokyo, and the dishes made with local vegetables are also exceptional. The bright and friendly service from the owner enhances the homey atmosphere of this establishment.

We chose this restaurant from a few candidates. The customers who seem to be local regulars and the family-like atmosphere are very attractive. The draft beer is refreshing and goes well with beer. Bottled beer can be added, and we were pleasantly intoxicated while enjoying the delicious fish. Thank you very much for the delicious food at this small and cozy restaurant.
