Tori to Mi

Fresh Date chicken dishes are superb. The chicken is grilled over a charcoal fire to bring out the full flavor of the ingredients. Mizutaki, in particular, has a reputation for its superb flavor. The owner has a background in the Torishiki family of restaurants and is a master chef who skillfully prepares Date chicken dishes. He has honed his skills and serves traditional yakitori and mizutaki at his restaurant.

Opened November 5, 2018. A well-known restaurant for those in the know, tucked away in the Setagaya Park area. The chef, who trained at Torishiki, is now an independent chef and skillfully handles Date chicken.

Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1972, he learned to cook from a young age through living on a farm, and later studied at a culinary school in Tokyo. After gaining culinary experience in Ginza and Aoyama, he once fell ill, but overcame his illness and rekindled his passion for cooking. He also gained experience as a pastry chef and is currently the head chef at several restaurants.
