The atmosphere is calm and makes use of an old traditional house, and it feels pleasant from the moment you enter. When you make a reservation, you are guided to a private room on the second floor where you can relax. The eel is prepared in the Kansai style, with a crispy surface and soft inside, which is very satisfying. The sauce is mildly sweet and pairs well with the rice, and the aroma of the ground pepper in the mortar is irresistible. There are also the signature steamed dishes and the enjoyment of tasting the white grilled eel with wasabi, so it never gets boring. The liver soup, pickles, and omelet, as well as the carefully prepared warabi mochi for dessert, made for a happy time.
