Classic Pouilly Fuisse from the Mâconnais district which lies in the south of Burgundy west of the River Saðne from a 5th generation Vigneron Domaine Roger Luquet. Today Patrick Luquet presides over 27 hectares of vineyards, including 40 to 70 year old vines in Fuisse and Solutre-Pouilly generous and rich with hints of hazelnuts, toasted almonds and exotic fruit and a beautiful flinty minerality on the palate sublime!
Established in 1924 and based in Haro Ramón Bilbao now owns 160 hectares of vineyards in Rioja. Their wines have received much acclaim in the press and were voted Winery of the Year 2009 and again in 2014. Edicion Limitada as the name suggests is a limited addition wine and is presented in an individually numbered bottle. Made from 40 year old Tempranillo vines grown in some of the region's best vineyards and is often referred to 'baby' Mirto, after their award winning super cuvee. Fermented in large oak barrel and matured for 14 months in French oak and a further 9 months in bottle before release. Wonderful aromas of fresh red berry, plum and cherry are followed by subtle oak and smoked notes

This tiny region to the east of Bordeaux in the south of the commune which runs from Libourne to St Emilion.
