Favorite Kitchen is a unique restaurant run by a Kenyan-Japanese couple. The seemingly forbidden combination of Kenyan ramen and tai-meshi captivates many food adventurers. The spiced coconut milk soup and the texturally rich noodles offer a new taste experience. The warm and welcoming service is also a highlight, making it a place you’ll want to return to after your first visit.

The interior has tables and a counter, creating a calm atmosphere. The signature Kenyan ramen, with its fragrant spices, features thick noodles and a coconut-infused soup that pairs perfectly. The accompanying sea bream rice is delicious on its own, and when you pour the soup over it, you can enjoy it in two ways. The jack chicken and Kenyan grilled meat also have a unique flavor that made it hard to put down my chopsticks. The banana-flavored beer is light and pairs well with the spicy dishes. Thanks to the attentive service from the cheerful staff, I was able to relax until the very end.
